Scope of the service
Velvkey is an editorial review and comparison service. Velvkey does not produce, host, or publish visual depictions of actual people engaged in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct.
Velvkey does not accept user-uploaded photographs or videos. Real-person visuals are limited to clean, non-explicit, source-backed brand, fashion, event, or representative photography. Velvkey may also use product-interface imagery and non-explicit designed or computer-generated illustrations. None of those materials is used to depict actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct.
Recordkeeping statement
For its current editorial content, Velvkey does not maintain performer records under 18 U.S.C. 2257 or 2257A because the service does not publish visual depictions of actual people engaged in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct. This is a statement about Velvkey's present content and operations, not a blanket exemption or a statement about any third party.
A proposed visual that could change this scope must remain unpublished while Velvkey evaluates the applicable producer, secondary-producer, recordkeeping, labeling, custodian, and inspection requirements. Covered material may not be published until the required legal and compliance controls are documented and operational. Velvkey must complete that review before publishing covered material.
Third-party services
Velvkey reviews and links to independently operated third-party services. Each third party is responsible for its own content, production practices, age-verification records, and compliance obligations. This statement applies only to content published by Velvkey.
Content standards
Velvkey prohibits explicit media, user-uploaded sexual content, and any material that depicts or sexualizes a minor. Additional information is available in the Content Policy.
